Happenings in 2017

The Modern Country-Rock Jon Dretto Band, is now booking festivals, corporate events, private parties, concerts and club dates, beginning July, 2017. Their sound is hard-driving, contemporary country with two guitars, bass and drums and four strong voices. The band is based in Rochester, NY, but will travel. Buffalo, Niagara Falls and Syracuse are well within range. The band is currently in rehearsals. Please contact Jon’s management by clicking on Contact and sending a message regarding booking.

Dan Murphy, owner of Murph’s Irondequoit Pub, knows a good thing when he sees it. Dan has booked the Jon Dretto Band, monthly, through December, 2017.

The Buffalo Motorama was great again. This was Jon’s fourth straight year performing at one of the biggest and best car shows in the Northeast. He met Wayne Carini, from Chasing Classic Cars and Twiggy Tallant, from Vegas Rat Rods. They were both very gracious and posed for photos with Jon.

Jon was recently informed that he has received a full tuition scholarship. He was named to the Dean’s List for the fall, 2016 and spring, 2017 semesters. Jon is Music Performance Major at a Rochester, NY area college.

Jon is excited to be studying with two world-class musicians; Mr. Robert (Bob) Sneider, world-class guitarist and Associate Professor of Jazz Studies, Eastman School of Music and Mr. John Nyerges, an amazing jazz pianist, Monroe Community College, Department of Visual and Performing Arts.

Jon will again participate in Fashion Week Rochester. Details to follow. Great event benefiting the Center For Youth.

Jon and good friend, Chet Catallo, former Spyro Gyra guitarist, tore it up at Murph’s, Irondequoit, NY. As one of the band members described it; “It was epic!”

Jon is very proud to have been a Paul Reed Smith Guitars Artist since 2013.

Jon is an Ernie Ball Strings Endorser. He uses Cobalt Slinky 9’s and 10’s on all his PRS electric guitars.
